Tonto Dikeh team partners Immigration Service on illegal migration

NOLLYWOOD actress, Tonto Dikeh today revealed through her Instagram page that she is partnering with the Nigerian Immigration Service to stop illegal migration of Nigerians. 

Tonto, who is the Director of Socials and Empowerment of an organisation known as the Committee of Youth on Mobilisation and Sensitisation (CYMS), shared some photos of her team’s visit to the controller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service. 

“Our engagement centred on ensuring synergy between the NIS and CYMS on creation of awareness on Irregular Migration, ensuring peaceful coexistence and patriotism, sensitisation on policies of the Nigerian Immigration Service and engagement of our unemployed youths to assist the Federal Government in line with the Immigration mandate.

“We were opportuned to do some presentation which was applauded by the representative of the Comptroller-General.

As a woman and mother, I understand that irregular migration has prompted lots of our ladies and children to become victims of Trafficking, girl child abuse and also indulge in international prostitution.”

“(We must fight it),” part of her text reads.
