Davido talks about family, music

IN a chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the BlackBox interview series, singer Davido (David Adeleke) opened up about family life. He talked about his wedding to fiancee, Chioma Rowland being postponed to next year because of the Coronavirus. The wedding was supposed to take place in July this year.

He also talked about how the birth of his son, Ifeanyi, changed him. He said he was there the whole nine months and saw the stress his fiancee went through.

“You know with my daughters, you know girls always love their dads a lot but their mums teach them how to be women. But as a dad I gat to train my son, to know wetin he suppose to do and not do,” he said. He said all his kids are equal and he tries to make everyone happy.

He also told Ebuka he knows certain factors in his career will affect his kids. His kids will know all the scandals he has been involved in online, he said.

He talked about how his brothers are richer than he is and that if he quits music now to work for his father, he would be very rich.

The music celebrity is engaged to Chioma and they have a son together. He also has two ‘baby mamas’ with which he shares a daughter each.
