KOGI: Assembly approves N30b supplementary budget for Yahaya Bello

THE State House of Assembly has approved a supplementary budget of over N30 billion for the 2021 appropriation bill.

The supplementary bill was approved following the clause-by-clause consideration by the committee of supply during the plenary today.

The approval, which brings the 2021 appropriation bill to over N160 billion, was done under the request of Governor Yahaya Bello to meet the developmental needs of the state.

Gov Bello had in August 2021 sent a letter requesting the assembly to approve the supplementary budget.
