ABDUCTORS of about 60 worshippers in Kakau Daji in Chikun Local Government Area are reportedly demanding bags of rice and groundnut oil to feed the victims.
It was gathered that the bandits threatened if the food items are not provided, the victims will be starved.
The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the state, Reverend John Hayab, said the abductors are demanding a huge amount of money as ransom.
Daily Trust quoted a member of the community to have said that the bandits called last night to demand food items from the community.
“We were told they called on Thursday night demanding for five bags of rice, four gallons of groundnut oil, Maggi carton and salt that failure to provide these items it means the victims will not eat,” the source said.
Recall that gunmen had last week invaded Emanuel Baptist Church located in Kakau Daji and abducted some worshippers.
