IT is finally here; the much-anticipated Christmas Day and just like every other person, our celebrities are not left out as they all have plans drawn out for the season.
Some of them shared with NaijaTimes their plans for this year’s celebration.
Excerpts;
White Christmas in a faraway Cove has always been my dream – Ruth Kadiri
For this year’s Christmas, I’ll be home spending time with my family. As that is about the only time one has to rest. Having a white Christmas has always been my dream/Fantasy in a faraway cove with family and friends.
I want to eat whatever I like and not add weight – Nazo Ekezie
For me, Christmas is to be wherever my family is. Christmas is for family.
I’ll be spending a lot of time with family today, I haven’t seen them all year, although we all are here in Lagos. I also want to eat whatever I like and not add weight.
No Christmas without my mother – Nkechi Blessing
I’ll just be home today with my family and thank God for letting us see this Christmas. I don’t have any plans at all. No Christmas without my mother. I will miss buying her Christmas cloth. It’s something I look forward to every Christmas. Life is just so unfair to me.
I’ll cuddle up with my man – Uche Ogbodo
I’m spending this Christmas with my kids, my man and my extended family. I wish we had some winter down here in Africa, have some snows, we would just wear our Christmas pyjamas and I’d cuddle up with my may man. We would be running around the house, having fun, roasting chicken, drinking and dancing. Having fun with the whole family. Christmas is all about love and spending time with loved ones.
I’ll cook my regular food and enjoy – Angel Samuda
Nothing special about Christmas because I eat white rice, stew and chicken like all the time but I’ll try cook that same rice and stew on today, 25th. I guess that’s what makes it special, nothing more.
Christmas was more interesting as a child – Nani Boi
I remember one particular Christmas that our mother bought ‘combat’ jeans for me, my kid bro, Chibuzo and my cousins, Okey and Izu with white NIKE sneakers. Then Our uncle who is late now (Raymond Eze) sewed green Agbada (now known as senator) for the four of us. We felt like Umu big man (Big man’s children) as we wore the jeans, T-shirts and sneakers to church and later in the afternoon, we wore the Agbada for house visits. We made good money that day because we stepped out in style. I can’t forget that year when the world was in peace and sweet. It’s like it was after that year that life began to show us pepper, but it well. We shall continue to conquer. Spending this festive season with family and friends.
