‘Kanye West not the richest black man, my Godfather Dangote is’ – DJ Cuppy

CELEBRITY disc jockey and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy has disproved claims that Kanye West is the richest black man in the world.

According to the DJ, she feels the need to remind Kanye West of that fact even though she is a huge fan.

In a Tweet shared via Twitter on Sunday, January 15, 2022, she wrote, “Random, I know… I am a HUGE @KanyeWest fan However with ALL due respect, I feel the need to remind him that he is not the “richest black man” – it is in fact my Godfather @AlikoDangote. Just clearing the air with #Facts.”

According to Forbes, as of 2021, Aliko Dangote is the richest black man in the world with a net worth of $13.5B while Kanye has a net worth of $1.8B.
