TOMORROW, December 2, will witness the screening of The Rise at the Nextier, 5 Kikuyu Close, Off Nairobi Street, Wuse 2, Abuja before an audience of eminent personalities in the finacial and economic and art worlds.
The screening which will also be broadcast via Zoom and social media platforms belonging to the producing company, David Akwara Films, will be followed by a pane discussion.
The documentary, states the producers, explores “how the AfCFTA is working for businesses, especially SMEs and MSMEs in four West African countries, namely, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Cameroon.
“The documentary will show the perspectives of those who the AfCFTA is working for and those who make it work for them. You will see exclusive interviews with policy makers and business owners. This is a conversation starter which will spark an insightful discussion during the Panel session,” stated Akwara Films.
The panel discussion to be moderated by the filmmaker, art activist, Tee Jay Dan, and holding 3.30pm to 5.30pm, is outlined as follows:
