Dike thus became the first running-mate in that category to move the needle of media frenzy since the current political dispensation began with nominations and primary elections by political parties in preparation for the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

The excitement from her fan base was mixed with surprise that their icon who has been in the news continuously for some controversial reasons in the last six month could be found worthy for such an elevated consideration.

Just last Monday, the controversial actress, singer and songwriter revealed that she would start an “OnlyFans page,” which will be subscription-based and used to serve exclusive content to her fans. She decided on the page, outside her routine fans page, because she wants to showcase those things that her pastor is not supposed to see.

She wrote, “I have decided to get an onlyfanpage, I wanna shake this bum bum my doctor gave me that don’t shake for you all. If this one work ehnnnnnn. I go just do private virtual Ikwerre lap dance. Bottom line be say, we must make this money.”

On Friday, June 24, however, ADC governorship candidate in her home state, Rivers, Ibraye, nominated her as his running mate for the 2023 governorship race, thus generating media frenzy and exciting her fans.

Tonto Dikeh (tontolet) as my running-mate for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers State. We are pleased to welcome her to the #RiversRescueMission2023 as we strive to improve the standard of living for everyone in our dear Rivers State.”
