Cameroon Attack: AGN confirms Sylvester Madu back to Nigeria, hale and hearty

It has been confirmed that popular Nollywood actor, Sylvester Madu is back to Nigeria in one piece after the attack he encountered in Cameroon.
Naijatimes had reported that Madu, also known as Shina Rambo had escaped death in Cameroon.
The actor, moved to Bamenda, Cameroon, to work on a film project, on November 23, 2023.
Detailing the incident,  the film company that invited the actor said in a statement released on social media that the incident claimed four lives.
“Some unknown gunmen stormed the drinking spot where Madu was hanging out with a few others around 10 pm on Saturday.
“The attack took the lives of four people and left over 10 with serious injuries
However, confirming that the Bad Boy actor is back home with his family in Nigeria, the president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas via his Instagram platform wrote, ” Following the fatal attack on an after-shoot event involving our member, Sylvester Madu on November 25, 2023 in Bamenda, Republic of Cameroon, we didn’t  rest on our  oars in ensuring the safety and homecoming of the star actor.
We were in contact with the Cameroonian authorities and other relevant agencies to coordinate his safety and the process of his safe return to Nigeria. “
“We gladly want to confirm that Sylvester Madu is back in the country hale and hearty.
It would be recalled that there was a fatal attack during an after-shoot event in Bamenda, Cameroon where  some people unfortunately lost their lives and some others were injured.”
“On behalf of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, I  express my heartfelt condolence to the Cameroon Film Industry and families of the deceased and pray for quick recovery for those injured. We appreciate all those who showed concern and offer positive advice during the predicament especially Gilbert Ebot and Brenda Elung. We remain committed to the safety and welfare of our members irrespective of their locations.”
