The Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade has appointed popular Nigerian musician, Iyanya Mbuk as Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment.
Iyanya Mbuk who hails from Cross River State is well known in the entertainment industry for making hit tracks, like Kukere, Fever, Away and more.
Aside from Mbuk, the governor also appointed twenty-six others as aides, according to a statement released late Wednesday evening by the Governor’s Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity, Christian Ita.
He said the appointments take immediate effect.
Part of the statement by Christian Ita, reads “His Excellency, the State Governor, Sir Ben Ayade has approved the immediate engagement of the under-listed persons in fulfilment of his promise to engage 500 members of the All Progressives Congress.
“They are to proceed to their respective local governments of origin for documentation.”
