ADEMOLA Lookman has reportedly demanded an exit from Atalanta as he is believed to be plotting a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria forward is not in Atalanta’s squad for tomorrow night’s Serie A fixture against Lecce after he asked to be left out, according to reports in Italy.
Reports emerged this morning that PSG had contacted Lookman’s entourage and asked about his availability.
Although no formal proposal has been made to the club, it still seemingly proved enough to get Lookman’s attention, making him to demand a transfer.
The Nigeria international’s name does not appear in the official squad list travelling to Lecce for the Serie A match.
Lookman turns 27 in October and scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen last season.
Atalanta bought Lookman from RB Leipzig in 2022 for €9.35m plus bonuses.
Born and raised in London to Nigerian parents, Lookman has made 79 appearances for Atalanta, with 32 goals and 18 assists, including that historic hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final.
His last appearance was in the UEFA Super Cup clash against Real Madrid in Warsaw, Poland on Wednesday night, where he was Atalanta’s best player in the 2-0 defeat.
