Danjuma invites 30 to Falconets camp for U-20 WWC preparations

THE head coach of the Falconets Chris Danjuma has invited 30 players to camp in Abuja to begin preparations for this year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

The Nigerian side, who have never missed a FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup since the competition began as an U-19 Championship in Canada 20 years ago, will play France, Canada and Korea Republic in Group C of this year’s tournament scheduled for Costa Rica from August 10 to August 28.

The Nigeria Football Federation says all the invited players are to report at the Chida Hotel, Abuja tomorrow.

The Falconets, who have been runner-up twice at the World Cup, defeated Central African Republic, Congo, Cameroon and Senegal to qualify for this edition.
