Mason Greenwood has been arrested again for an alleged breach of his bail conditions after his arrest on suspicion of rape, assault and making threats to kill, according to reports in England today.

The 21-year-old Manchester United striker was first arrested in January after images and videos were posted online which suggested that he was assaulting his girlfriend.

It is believed that Englishman Greenwood breached the conditions of his bail after contacting his alleged victim.

He is facing allegations that he raped, sexually assaulted and threatened to kill an 18-year-old student after videos and audio recordings emerged.

According to The Sun, Greenwood is being interviewed after officers raided his home in Manchester this morning.

His initial bail was extended at a private hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court in June.

He was later questioned on suspicion of making threats to kill as he spent three nights at a Greater Manchester police station.

The England international was released on conditional bail on February 2, which has been extended twice since, although
police did not specify when the bail would run out after the closed court hearing in June.

Greenwood’s last appearance for Manchester United was on January 22, and the club had to release a statement saying they ‘did not condone violence of any kind.’

United suspended Greenwood after police launched their investigation, but it is believed that he still receives his £75,000-a-week salary and his name has not been removed from the club’s website.
