RETIRED military colonel, Rabiu Yandoto and his children who had been kidnapped were both freed after a N10 million ransom was paid.
Yandoto on a phone interview with newsmen stated that the bandits were given N10m for there release.
He said, “They collected N10m and brought me together with my children near Faskari town in Katsina State and told us to find our way home.
“As I am speaking to you, we were released barely one hour ago and I thank God that I was not killed while in their camp.”
Recall that Garba and two of his children were taken by bandits on Sunday, January 1, 2023, while they were returning to their rural home in Yandoto.
