THE newly sworn-in Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, has dismissed the state’s 16 local government caretaker committee chairmen.
The governor stated in a press statement, that they turn over government property in their control to the heads of local government administration in their various councils.
The dissolution is effective immediately.
Meanwhile, the governor has named his first Chief Protocol Officer and Chief Press Secretary.
They are Yusuf Ubandoma and Yusuf Sanda, respectively.
He has also approved the nomination of Jeji Williams as Chief of Staff and Timothy Kataps as Secretary to the Taraba State Government.
