NUCIANO, an award-winning American luxury handbag label has stepped big into Nigeria. This is through partnership with Mimi Yina, a celebrity fashion stylist, popularly known as Medlin, who recently re-launched the brand here as ‘Medlin for Nuciano.’ 

The sophisticated luxury handbag label was officially launched in 2018, in Seattle, United States, by Nigerian designer, Joy Egbejimba. 

Hosted by Denrele Edun, the relaunch was also graced by A-list celebrities:  Mercy Aigbe, Ayo Makun, Mabel Makun, Ini Edo, Ruth Kadiri, Uche Jombo, Nancy Isime, Alex Ekubo, Williams Uchemba, Lilian Esoro, Yomi Casual, Bam Bam, Frodd, Kemen and Alex. 

Speaking of the partnership, Medlin recalled the beautiful journey and achievement so far: 

“The CEO of Nuciano bags reached out to me and said I see that you love luxury bags and I know you have good taste; can we do something together? 

“Everybody knows I love luxury bags, so I accepted. I know if I venture into that it will sell and come out well and I would be able to showcase what I love and have it in my name. It has been a progressive process.”

She continues, “we have been on this journey for two years. I was meant to launch it last year August on my birthday, but we wanted perfection, so we took our time to produce good quality at affordable price.”
