FOUR male African Writers from Cameroon, Togo and Nigeria have arrived at the Ebedi International Writers Residency, Iseyin, Oyo State for the next session of the Program.
The writers — Chimezie Chika (Nigeria), Nkwetatang Sampson Nguekie (Cameroon), Armand Mazahorou Esso (Togo) and Femi Onileagbon (Nigeria) — will be in the Residency for four weeks, and will work on their individual writing projects and also mentor Nigerian Secondary School students in the area of creative arts,” according to Dr. Wale Okediran, the writer-medical doctor founder of the facility.
The Ebedi Residency, a private initiative for creative writers and artists to complete their works in a conducive environment at no cost, has hosted about 130 Writers from 10 different countries since it was established in 2010.
